Mindfulness for Chaotic Times
Are you tired of getting lost in downward spirals of worry, anxiety, exhaustion, and more? Are you looking for ways to start or re-boot your mindfulness practice while developing a greater sense of balance and contentment?
If so, whether you’re a newcomer to mindfulness or an experienced meditator looking for a refresh, this 4-week course is being offered for you!
Schedule and Logistics
There are four weekly classes, each 1.75 hours long, which allows time for practice, new content, and dialogue as we explore ways to live with greater balance and contentment.

Minimum Age: 18 and no longer in high school

About the Course
In this four-week course, you will learn to practice and apply mindfulness in ways that help you liberate yourself from the downward spirals of worry, anxiety, exhaustion, and more. In doing so, you will strengthen your capacity for inner balance, peace, and contentment.
Weekly topics include the following:
Week 1: Waking up from auto-pilot
Week 2: Discovering and working with limits
Week 3: Interrupting the downward spiral
Week 4: Exploring and navigating difficulty
Course Material
To support you as we explore the weekly topics, the course includes extensive supplemental material, including:
Suggested home practice, including type and duration of meditation
Recorded meditations that are an average of 15 minutes long
Specific suggestions to help you apply and integrate these qualities more fully in your life
This course is designed for newcomers to mindfulness and experienced meditators who are looking to rekindle their practice.
About Our Instructor
The Mindfulness for Chaotic Times course will be facilitated by Karyn Sandelman, a highly experienced, Certified MBSR Teacher who is trained and qualified by the Center for Mindfulness at The University of Massachusetts Medical Center and Certified by Brown University’s School of Public Health.
In addition to leading a wide array of mindfulness programs for large and small organizations, Karyn has taught MBSR more than 40 times, with 100's of students participating from around the world and reaping the benefits of mindfulness in their lives.
